I wonder if this recipe could be easily adapted to use rtorrent through vpn:

However I’m not sure if the vpn configuration would affect any of the others moving parts of the swarm. what do you think?

I’ve dabbled a bit with openvpn within swarm (OpenVPN |・∀・) , and found that it only really works with NET_ADMIN, and the VPN is established at the host level (not the container level). Meaning you’d need a VPN established from every swarm node.
